PEISCHL – A name recognized far beyond the borders of Austria for high-quality vehicle manufacturing. Maybe even for several hundreds of years, but there definitely existed a PEISCHL smithy since 1820 in Stegersbach. An fortuitous discovery in the parish chronicles confirmed that a remote ancestor was among the people which moved to the vicinity and founded Stegersbach in the 13^th century.

During the course of the centuries the smithy outlasted, alone the product was transformed in nature. Shortly after the appearance of the first motor vehicles after World War I the manufacturing of assemblies for these vehicles began beside from transport vehicles and agricultural products.
In the middle of the Thirties the market moved towards articulated vehicles, therefore the production was shifted with focus on tipper vehicles and assemblies. Still in the Fifties the product selection ranged from the ordinary tipper vehicles and trailers to assemblies for lumber and animal transports.

In 1965 the new foundation of the company, caused by insufficient space, on the current location Wiener Strasse 45 took place. Currently the PEISCHL Company provides work for about 30 employees, manufacturing nearly 150 truck assemblies and trailers a year.

At our facility we attach the highest importance to value in production quality. The following steps are necessary to guarantee it: Assembly of all prepared parts, subsequent careful granule cleaning with premium aluminium granules, next the vehicle receives a special grounding which is covered with first-class lacquers. Following the lacquer comes the final assembly and in conclusion the end control, before the vehicle can be delivered. Because our vehicles are predominantly manufactured of cut and profiled, high compact sheet metals, our products are at the leading edge in the lightweight manufacturing sector. The excellent sales of our products so far accounts for the fact that our goods belong to the lightest and best in this line of business.

PEISCHL Vehicles – always an idea ahead!

Although the company still maintains a wide variety of products, the focus nowadays is on assemblies for the long distance traffic. Long distance platforms and trailers, heavy long distance trailers and semi-trailers, trunk assemblies, tandem trailers and large volume vehicles determine the everyday. Flagships among the PEISCHL selection are semi-trailers of about 5800 kg net weight, pallet semi-trailers with 40 pallet places, jumbo trailers with a cargo volume of over 135 m³, mega trailers with 3 m interior height and long distance semi-trailers with lifting floors.

Customers supplied by PEISCHL in Stegersbach have their place of business in Austria or in the neighbouring countries, nonetheless PEISCHL vehicles can be seen on all motorways of the continent.
